K C Narayanan is an eminent critic and media person. He formerly served as the editor in charge of the Malayala Manorama Year Books, Bhashaposhini, and other publications. His notable works include Mahabharatham—Oru Swathanthra Software, Malayaliyude Rathrikal, and Baliyapalinte Padangal. He received the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award (Literary Criticism) for the book, Malayaliyude Raathrikal.
