Sudha Menon is a senior Labour Rights Specialist and writer. As a Senior Program Manager of the multi-country project aimed at the Economic Empowerment of conflict-affected women in South Asia (funded by the SAARC), she has been instrumental in rehabilitating the conflict and disaster- affected women in Kashmir, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Afghanistan. Sudha has travelled across South Asian villages including the difficult terrains of Nepal, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, and conducted in-depth interviews with some of the most vulnerable women affected by earthquakes, human trafficking, civil war, religious terrorism, and patriarchy. She regularly contributes to newspapers and magazines.
