Armed with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the TKM College of engineering, Quilon, Kerala, he started his own architecture practice in the year 1995 and till date has come out with creative design solutions that interact with the environment. As we approach an era where the architect is swamped in new techniques and materials Babu Cherian looks towards the past to build for the future by drawing from traditional Kerala architecture and reinventing it to suite the contemporary needs. With works that feature the masterful touch of craftsmanship his residences always strike a harmonious chord between the architecture and the people.
