Senior journalist from Kerala, M P Basheer has a career span of 23 years across multiple newsrooms in English and Malayalam. Former Executive Editor of Indiavision, the first 24x7 news channel in Malayalam, and former Editor in Chief of Newsrupt, Basheer has authored Moonnu Kuttavichaaranakal, a book on sex trials in Kerala.
He bagged the National Foundation for India media fellowship for reporting on Young Grandmothers of Malappuram.
