‘Is the Indian constitution undermined? The question that is emerging in every Indian’s mind turned out to be an eminent session at the final day of KLF. The discussion between the senior journalist Teesta Setalvad and the former educational minister and Polilt Bureau member of CPM –MA Baby was moderated by Amrit Lal. The session analysed the causes of the Indian constitution being criticized at various levels. When Teesta Setalvad expressed her dissent at current RSS policies, MA Baby added “The greatest Hindu ever lived in India was Mahatma Gandhi”.
Amrit lal in his views stated that the lack of literacy of constitution among people is one of the reason why it is blamed and felt undermined.
