An engaging session on the topic 'The Way Martyrs are Build' was held at the venue Vakku. Different aspects of martyrdom were discussed in connection with communism and other political ideologies. The speakers of the session were the novelists, T. P. Rajeevan and Kalpatta Narayanan. The main point put forth in this session was martyrdom in politics. Kalpatta Narayanan began the talk saying, 'A Martyr win the war even after his death.' He opined that Jesus Christ and Mahatma Gandhi are ideal martyrs and added that martyrs are the backbones of the communist party. T.P. Rajeevan spoke about his novel 'Kriyasesham' and the reason for writing the same. He said that the entire novel was based on the life of Kunjayyappan. He also shared his views on 'Paleri Manikyam' in connection with the dalit women martyrs. T.P. Rajeevan also said that Abhimanyu was a victim and not a martyr. The session was concluded after the panellists interacted with the audience.
