The second night at Kerala Literature Festival saw a joint session of Welsh poets and Malayalam poets, connecting both European and Indian poetry. K.Satchidanandan, shared his experiences of attending a workshop in Wales and another one at Kovalam. The Indian contingent comprised of Manoj Kuroor, Anitha Thampi, V.M. Girija, Anwar Ali, and P.P. Ramachandran. Harkaitz Cano, Llyr Gwn Lewis, Nadia Misfud, Robert Minhinnick, and Alexandra Buchler represented Wales. The moderator of the session was Sampurna Chatterjee. Poems recited during the session included 'Far Near' by Satchidanandan, 'Vivarthanathil nashtapedunnath' by Manoj Kuroor, 'Deshadanam' by V.M. Girija, 'Idamozhi' by Nadia Misfud, 'Pretham' by Anitha Thampi, and they all won the hearts of audience. The poets overwhelmingly translated and talked about each other’s works, they shared the meanings, and made the evening blissful.
