The 4th edition of the much-awaited annual Kerala Literature Festival was inaugurated here at Kozhikode Beach by renowned writer and Jnanpith Laureate, M.T. Vasudevan Nair. The literary extravaganza will see over 500 speakers from diverse disciplines speak and engage in stimulating discussions over the next four days.
The event will also showcase various other musical and poetry sessions. The KLF which has become synonymous with showcasing a range of voices from India and abroad, who will represent Indian and international writers at four venues. Poetry will be a dominant theme this year at the KLF. The festival has shown tremendous growth over the three years and the spontaneity and spirit remains the hallmark of the event.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Mr Ravi DeeCee (Chief Facilitator, KLF), A. Pradeep Kumar (Chairman, KLF), K. Satchidanandan (Festival Director), Alexandra Buchler (Guest nation Representative - Wales), among others.
