To make the night scintillating The Mónica de la Fuente Dance Company from Spain performs at the third edition of Kerala Literature Festival on February 11 by 8 pm on the beach of Kozhikode.
The Mónica de la Fuente Dance Company based in Valladolid, Spain presents music and dance-theatre production titled Rasa Duende (Flamenco-India Project). The performance, Rasa Duende, is inspired by the Poem of the Deep Song composed by the renowned Spanish poet Federico García Lorca where Flamenco Music dialogues with Indian Performing Arts. A creation in dance, music and theatre where the expe¬rience of flamenco is explored in movement, sound and image in an encounter with one of its mother-roots: India. Where the primitive and at the same time stylized sound of flamenco meets –in a creative dialogue- the contemporary forms of dance inspired by Indian Performing Arts.
Rasa Duende was premiered in Segovia, Spain in December 2015 as part of the events celebrating 60 years of Spain-India Diplomatic Relations and was produced with the support of the Castille Regional Government and Casa de la India in Valaldolid.
