A conversation that featured C. Balagopal and Gurucharan Das showcased a public intellectual talk on Das’ book Kama: The riddle of desire. The biography of emotion which is written in the form of fictional memoir was depicted in the book, discussed the panellists. “Kama is the source of happiness. In classical, Purashartha's is the classical means of Indian tradition. Kama portrayed the emotional or sexual wellbeing. The living cell is living because of Kama,” said Gurucharan Das. “Mahabharatha is a melancholic human condition,”opined Das.
