KLF MIC, the simple yet powerful session at the festival featured KR Meera, MN Karassery, Arunmohan Sukumar and Dr. Baby Sam Samuel spoke at the fifteen minute long session here at the fest today. The session started with KR Meera’s talk on Women as an Opposition. She discussed about the power of today’s women as the first persons to act against inappropriate laws. She also added that the celebrities who kept silent about these were against women.
M.N Karassery then spoke on the subject Citizenship: Gandhi’s Views. He said that Gandhi’s idea about citizenship was based on birth and believed that the birth of a person should decide his citizenship.
Arun Mohan Sukumar spoke about History of Technology in Independent India, about the usage of technology after independence in India and the kind of problems India had faced then. He also opined on the growth of technology and what we have worked on and what could be worked out.
Dr. Baby Sam Samuel spoke about Social Entrepreneurship citing the example of his venture Anjappam. He introduced some business initiatives that works for welfare of the society and how is these initiatives helping the community to be better.
