‘Woman at Home, on the Street and in Theatre’ had participation from Sister Jesmi, C S Chandrika, Parvathy, Shiny along with Vasudevan Namboothiri. Chandrika started with the issues women face in today’s world. “Women should come out of the four walls to the society” she urged.
Parvathy a known actress and theatre artist shared her experience from her childhood to her life as a theatre artist. “Theatre made my life meaningful and made me a real woman” she said. She was sharing her challenging situations.
Shiny an active journalist and a short filmmaker said that she is ashamed to live in today’s society. She was expressing her intense emotions in the discussion.
All the women on the dias together said that all the women should be seen equal. Freedom adventure etc are not an asset of men they added. There is no solution for many issues that women face. They should be taught how to say no in the right place. Sister Jesmi’s words echoed in the ears of audience.
