Stories written in different ages explain that particular time. To understand history stories should be read not history books. Thakkazhi’s works portrays the language and lifestyle of Kozhikode of that time. Writers have helped a lot to portray the food habits, lifestyle, language, attitude, the physic of people etc.
The writers couldn’t agree on the element of interfering with time that is using contemporary topics in their stories. While some believes in using such topics in their writings some couldn’t accept such practices and advocated for other topics. The definition of interference yet again was questioned at the session as different opinions developed throughout the session.
